National Road Safety Week, 14-21 May 2023

Every year, approximately 1200 people are killed and another 44,000* are seriously injured on Australian roads. Traffic injury is the biggest killer of Australian children under 15 and the second-biggest killer of all Australians aged between 15 and 24. These numbers are growing every year but are preventable if we choose to Drive So Others Survive!

National Road Safety Week is an annual initiative from the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group, partnering road safety organisations and Government. The week highlights the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it.

Water Crossing for light Vehicles Guideline

It covers Light Vehicle transport in times of flood events leading to water levels increasing across causeways or otherwise unrestricted roads becoming flooded due to overland flow of flood waters.

Line of Fire

Safer Together has developed a mini-portal where you can find a range of information and tools designed to reduce Line of Fire incidents, designed as a 'one stop shop' to access a range of tools designed to reduce the incidence of line of fire incidents across our industry to support the reduction of Line Of Fire incidents. This portal pulls it all together in one place so that our front line teams can quickly access and use this valuable information

In addition to the above, Safer Together has many other initiatives and supporting resources to address personal injuries in the workplace, including;
