In March we continued our bi-annual Regional Queensland Member Engagement Roadshows – designed to engage with local member company representatives, to increase understanding of our member’s needs, and to raise the profile of Safer Together in the region.

With member company representatives turning out in ever-higher numbers to our Roadshow events, it is evident that the model of taking Safer Together to the regions is working, with the story of the week in numbers:

  • 28 face-to-face sessions in total held in 4 different locations (Roma, Chinchilla, Dalby and Toowoomba) over 4 days.
  • 476 attendee spots filled.
  • 45 companies actively engaging in the sessions.
  • 14 member companies providing representatives to facilitate the sessions, ensuring a peer-to-peer conversation.
  • 4 local community venues used to host all afternoon sessions – one in each location.
  • Long list of practical input, suggestions and feedback obtained from field-based frontline managers, supervisors and workforce that will be fed back to our Working Groups.
