Quarter 2 Theme ‘Preventing Personal Injuries’ Articles • April 2024 We launch our Q2 Theme ‘Preventing Personal Injuries’ with a reminder that we are a member-led organisation working together to prevent harm to our frontline workers. To do this, it is important that we understand hazards at site, the harm they can cause us, and how we can control them to prevent injuries to ourselves and colleagues.

Helping Hands Delivers Articles • March 2024 In 2023, our Associate Member, Whitehaven Coal engaged Safer Together to deliver Helping Hands workshops to workers at their Narrabri coal operations site - bringing hand safety awareness direct to the workforce. Later that year, Dr Matt Henricks (Founder and Non-Executive Director, Helping Hands) visited the Philippines; personally delivering the prosthetic hands built at the workshop.

2024-2026 Strategic Plan Released! Articles • February 2024 A Strategic Plan review requires us to step back and look at our remit with fresh eyes. Australia’s energy system is changing. Our industry has expanded its focus beyond oil and gas exploration and development to cover lower-carbon fuels and net zero technologies. Our new 2024-2026 Strategic Plan responds to these changing needs and contains a vision for our industry that will guide our future actions.

The Results Are In! Our Best and Fairest of 2023 Articles • February 2024 We are a member-led organisation committed to preventing harm to frontline workers in our industry. In practice, we are a group of committed individuals working toward the common goal of improving safety culture for everyone in our industry. Today we recognise and celebrate some wonderful extra-committed individuals as our 2023 Best and Fairest!

Industry Safety Forum 2023, Perth WA Articles • December 2023 The story of safety in the Oil, Gas & Energy industry is one of growth and transformation. To have a meaningful conversation about the future, we must look back to where we started. At October’s Industry Safety Forum (ISF) in Perth, we heard from Senior Leaders and frontline workers about our journey and discussed our industry's changing needs into the future.
