Safety Performance Data
Collecting, collating, analysing and reporting safety performance data on behalf of the Queensland and WA/NT sectors of the Australian Energy Production Industry.
Major Sharing
Safer Together collects, collates, analyses and reports our industry's safety performance data to the Qld and WA/NT Safety Leaders Groups (SLGs) on a Quarterly basis. We also maintain a safety performance database. We use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) developed by the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) to monitor our Industry’s safety performance.
Safety data is used by the SLGs to:
- Monitor progress in achieving Our Commitment and delivering our Strategic Plan
- Discuss trends (incident type and causation)
- Benchmark performance
- Agree action to improve outcomes (e.g. steer activities of Safer Together and/or inform action by individual companies)
- Promote / facilitate learning from incidents and near misses
We also use the data to inform our Working Groups and engage Frontline Workers.
