Safer Together Board

The Board is made up of directors who are elected, or appointed, in accordance with our Constitution.

Lorna McGinnis - Independent Chair, Safer Together

Lorna brings over 20 years’ experience providing independent facilitation and strategic guidance to Not-for-Profits. Lorna’s tertiary qualifications and career have centred on stakeholder relations, governance and compliance, including almost a decade in the energy production industry delivering the GLNG EIS, and QCLNG Construction - managing social impact as a member of the Project Management Team. Through her own consultancy Lorna enables clients across industry and human service sectors in effective strategic planning and business improvement. She holds a Certificate in Governance for Not-for-Profits through the Governance Institute of Australia.

Lorna was appointed to the Safer Together Board as an Independent Director, and was delegated Chair responsibilities, in June 2026.

Dan Clark - Chief Executive Officer, APLNG

Dan commenced his role with APLNG in May 2024 and is on secondment from ConocoPhillips, where he was most recently President of the Australia business unit.  Dan has over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, having held leadership roles spanning engineering, operations, commercial and business development in the United States, Indonesia and Qatar.  Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.

Dan has been a member of the Safer Together Qld Safety Leaders Group since 2022, is the current Operator Co-Chair of the Group, and has previously served as the Operator Co-Champion of the Competence and Behaviour Working Group.  He joined the Qld Board in March 2023 and was appointed as the President and Chair in July 2024.  He joined the Safer Together Board, and was appointed as President, when it was formed in October 2025.

Tim Dabrowksi - Chief Operations Officer, On Spec DAQ

Tim has been a member of the Safer Together Qld Safety Leaders Group since 2021, and is the current  Contractor Co-Champion of the Worker Competence Working Group.  He has previously served as a member of the Leadership and Culture Working Group.  He joined the Safer Together Board and was appointed as Secretary and Treasurer, in December 2025.

Deborah Peach - Executive General Manager, Cleanaway

Deborah has over 25 years’ experience in the consulting, mining and energy sectors.  As a member of Cleanaway’s Senior Executive team since Sept 2022, Deborah is accountable for providing strategic leadership and direction in the areas of Fixed Assets, Fleet & Logistics, HSE and Business Resilience.  Prior to joining Cleanaway, Deborah held executive positions in the Oil and Gas industry, supporting onshore and offshore assets, drilling and completions, subsea and logistics activities in Australia.  Deborah is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Deborah has been a member of the Safer Together WA/NT Safety Leaders Group since it was first established in late 2017, is the current Contractor Co-Chair of the Group, and has previously served as a member of the Safety Leadership Working Group.  She joined the WA/NT Board in March 2020 and was appointed as Treasurer, Secretary and Deputy Chair in June 2023.  She was appointed to the Safer Together Board in October 2025.

Glenn Watt - Chief Operating Officer, Beach Energy

Glenn has over 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, having held various drilling and completion management and asset executive roles during his career in North America and Australia. He joined Beach Energy in September 2024 and is currently the Chief Operating Officer. He is a chartered engineer with Engineers Australia and is accountable for improving asset value including safety, production and financial performance as part of the overall portfolio.

Glenn has previously been a member of the Safer Together QLD Safety Leaders Group, joined the Safer Together WA/NT Safety Leaders Group in 2024, is the current Operator Co-Chair of the Group, and is currently serving as the Operator Co-Champion of the Land Logistics Working Group.  He was appointed to the Safer Together Board in June 2025.

Steve Williams - Executive Director, Safer Together

Steve has over 30 years experience as a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional in the Oil and Gas Industry.  He has worked and lived in Australia, the United States, the Philippines and Russia, and has also provided HSE services to companies in South East Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the South Pacific.  Steve holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.  Steve is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).

Steve has worked at Safer Together since it was founded in 2014.  He was appointed as Forum Coordinator in 2020, and as the Executive Director in December 2024.
