Guidance
(suggestions for practices to meet performance expectations)
- Hand-over between swing shifts undertaken by non-contact means are recommended e.g. teleconference.
- Government mandated physical distancing requirements are maintained, except where for safety reasons a task cannot be carried out.
- Messing facility control maximum occupancy and staging of services to maintain physical distancing, in line with state or territory government requirements, for example:
- Provision of pre-served meals.
- Removal of furniture in mess or designation of empty seats.
- Staggered mealtimes to significantly reduce people numbers in one place.
