It’s Time to Update the IVMS Specification Articles • November 2019 Safer Together introduced a Common In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) Specification for the Queensland Natural Gas Exploration and Production Industry in 2015. The Specification helped simplify and standardise IVMS requirements addressing settings for speed management, seat belts, fatigue management, harsh driving events and reporting.

The event on 14 November was filled with review of two very relevant incidents related to lifeboats and vessel operations, which generated robust discussion by participants and a challenge by a Woodside representative about what people will do differently when they go back to work after review of the latter incident.
