We held the first of four quarterly Member Engagement sessions for 2026 in Darwin this month. Hosted by GR Production Services, senior field leaders and key frontline leaders from 7 member companies in the Northern Territory participated in the event, together with representatives from Energy Club NT and the NT Government.
Common Industry Competencies Rev. 8.0 Released

Our Common Industry Competencies Specification (CICs) is designed to remove confusion, eliminate duplication in training requirements, and to improve cost efficiency. It has improved worker mobility, allowed Operators and Contractors to better target their training spend, enabled faster mobilisation of workers to site and increased confidence around the competency of the Australian Energy Production Industry workforce.
Cranes and Lifting – Learning Via International Collaboration

Our Cranes and Lifting Working Group exists to share best practices and issues related to incidents involving offshore cranes, hoisting, and lifting, and to improve the consistency of safety related activities, and this month, the Working Group did just that, meeting with Dr. Thomas O’Neill in Perth; there to share research findings.
