At our first Industry Safety Forum in Perth in 2018, a need was identified by our Member Companies for a localised Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) training course confirming to the requirements of an international Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization (OPITO) standard, but available for delivery in Perth, WA (too far from major population centres to typically host such training).

Safer Together Collaboration Partner, The National Road Safety Partnership Program (NRSPP) has developed a series of Toolbox Talks to help organisations deliver engaging safety messages on topics relevant to heavy vehicle drivers’ daily tasks. The first of these Toolbox Talks, which explores Driver Distraction, was released in May and the next one, which explores Fatigue, was released in June.
