Fatigue Risk Management Resources HSER Connect • December 2024 The once prescriptive nature of fatigue risk management in the Australian Energy Production Industry (e.g., hours of work vs rest) is generally no longer accepted as sufficient to address fatigue-related risk in the workplace. A Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) is now recommended to facilitate the systematic identification of workplace hazards relating to fatigue and define and guide organisations to evaluate, manage and mitigate fatigue-related risks.

Industry Safety Forum Toowoomba - Members Getting Involved Articles • December 2024 It was fantastic to welcome so many familiar faces and new member company representatives to our Industry Safety Forum in Toowoomba in November.  We hope delegates enjoyed the opportunity to mingle and network with colleagues, learned more about our high-priority initiatives and enjoyed the site visits generously hosted by Obadare Group and MPC Kinetic.

Process Safety and Drilling and Completions Industry - Under Pressure Articles • December 2024 Pressure comes in many forms, mental pressure, perceived pressures, physical pressure and process pressure in process safety-related incidents. In November, our Rig Site Safety Working Group and Process Safety Working Group collaborated on a combined DCIIRP/Process Safety Forum event in Toowoomba, themed UNDER PRESSURE, where we considered different forms of pressure as a factor in incidents across our industry.
