On 12th February we held a Member Engagement Evening with senior field leaders and key frontline leaders from the Safer Together community in the Northern Territory.

Following a successful pilot in September 2024, Safer Together will hold a total of 4 Member Engagement Evenings in Darwin throughout 2025 – one each quarter. The event held in February was the first of these.

Representatives from 8 Safer Together member companies gathered at the Darwin office of Territory Instruments to have a chat, enjoy a drink and some tucker, and openly share their current safety challenges. It provided an opportunity for member companies in the local region to mingle with their peers, find out more about some of the Safer Together high priority programs and products, and to listen and learn from each other’s experiences.

Thorsten Nellen – Chief Operating Officer, Territory Instruments opened the evening and provided an overview introduction to Safer Together by sharing this brief video clip with attendees, highlighting it’s value as a quick and simple way to  brief your company colleagues, customers and supply chain about Safer Together.

Dave Dann – General Manager Operations Onshore, INPEX then shared a deployment case study about INPEX’s adoption and implementation of the Industry Safety Induction, emphasising not only the safety benefits, but also some of the efficiencies for the company and its service providers that have been achieved as a result of embracing this particular Safer Together program.

Josh Harrison - General Manager Operations & Maintenance West, GR Production Services then led a discussion with the group about one of the many Learning Event Bulletins that are freely available in the Safer Together Sharing Library.
