Topping Up the Toolbox

A suite of process safety toolbox resources tailored specifically for our industry that member companies can simply pick up and use to educate their workforce.

Challenge

Some companies in our industry have a lot of expertise and experience in the area of process safety, and others do not. To prevent repeating past incidents, all would benefit greatly from being aware of the good practices adopted and lessons learnt by other companies.

Solution

Provide organizational learning support to all member companies by engaging subject matter experts and target audience representatives from our industry to develop a suite of process safety toolbox resources. Promote use of the materials and make them easily accessible to all member companies.

Result

5 toolbox packages have been developed and are available now for all member companies to simply pick up and use:

  1. Topic 1 – Good Process Safety protects you and those around you
     
  2. Topic 2 – What you walk past is what you are willing to accept
     
  3. Topic 3 – Pressure: The Invisible Killer
     
  4. Topic 4 – Have you thought about the invisible hazards around you?
     
  5. Topic 5 - Think it can't happen to you? Think again!

Each toolbox is comprised of a poster and a presentation for a toolbox talk, complete with speaker notes.
