Want to hear more about the work of the Fitness to Work Project Team?  Want to have your say?  Did you miss the Workshops conducted in Brisbane late last year?  Don't despair.  The Fitness to Work Project Team will run consultation workshops in Toowoomba and Roma to hear from people in the regions.  Read on to find out more.

The Fitness to Work Project Team has been making solid progress with the development of a baseline medical guideline to address both pre-employment and periodic medical assessments which is aimed at improving the health and safety of those who work in the CSG industry.

In late 2019 the group hosted two consultation workshops in Brisbane. The aim of the workshops was to brief the participants on the background, requirements and process for implementing the (draft) Medical Assessment Guideline and build engagement and seek feedback prior to finalising the document and process in 2020.

Workshops in regional Queensland are now scheduled to be conducted in Toowoomba (late March 2020) and Roma (April 2020).

Those who have a role in the fitness to work process for individuals employed in the QLD Natural Gas industry should attend.

Please register your expression of interest to attend a Consultation Workshop by emailing [email protected] including “FTW Consultation Workshop” in the subject line.
