Safer Together is committed to preventing harm to frontline workers in our Industry by simplifying, standardising and sharing.  Fatalities and permanent impairments represent the worst possible outcome for frontline workers.  While there have been a number of significant events this year, there have been no fatalities or permanent impairment injuries in the Australian Energy Production Industry in 2025.  This is a result worth acknowledging.

Safer Together has grown significantly in reach and maturity since we formed in 2014.  We are highly effective and valued by our members.  However, we recognise that our governance and administrative structures need to evolve to be fit for the future.

This year we have reflected on what it means to be nationally-aligned and regionally-focused.  With the right governance changes we will become an even more efficient and effective organisation to deliver on our commitment to frontline workers.

We end 2025 with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that our collaboration as an industry works, and that everything we strive to do, and little decisions we make – matter.

We look forward to working with all our members in 2026 to make our industry safer for frontline workers.

We are Stronger and Safer Together.
