Our Fitness to Work (FTW) – Medical Assessment Guideline (MAG) is designed for use in for pre-employment and periodic medical examinations for the Australian Energy Production Industry. Rev 2.1 of the FTW-MAG incorporates minor updates to provide clarification for Medical Providers.
Any medical FTW is an integral part in ensuring the health and safety of personnel working in the industry. It also provides an opportunity for a worker to understand their own personal health risks and enables them to take action to improve their health, possibly supported by their employer.
It is a Guideline for pre-employment and periodic medical examinations for the Australian Energy Production Industry. The MAG outlines a consistent approach for members of Safer Together to adopt to improve the overall FTW management for medical assessments across the industry and now covers all workers in the Australian Energy Production Industry.
