Our 2024-2026 Strategic Plan reminds us about who we are, our Commitment and our Guiding Principles. It also identifies our areas of focus as we move forward.
Safer Together plays an important role in the future of our industry. Active collaboration and participation by all companies working in our industry will be key to building a community of safety leaders, that together create a safer Australian Energy Production Industry.
There’s no point in having a plan unless you measure how you’re going in delivering that plan – this month, we are proud to announce that our Safety Leaders Groups (SLGs) have approved the following KPIs and Targets that will help us measure progress in delivering this plan.
Our SLGs will monitor progress against these KPI’s and Targets and steer our activities accordingly.
- We will measure the uptake of our high-priority initiatives.
- We will continue to monitor and measure engagement with the workforce via the number of registered website users and HSER Connect Bulletin subscribers.
- We will measure the level of engagement of member companies and the frontline workforce.
Going forward, our SLGs commit to adopt or create an industry-wide measure for health and wellbeing by end 2026 and will be seeking input in due course.
Safer Together also commits to increasing our Diversity and Inclusion literacy – and championing Diversity and Inclusion in our workspace. We freely admit we have a long way to go in this space, and understand Diversity and Inclusion is a broader conversation than that simply of gender and race - but we commit to this journey.
