National Road Safety Week 2026
Distraction plays a significant role in Australian Road Safety, contributing to about one in six serious crashes and substantially increasing collision risk. Distraction is one of the fatal five factors in road safety and it’s what Safer Together is focussing on for National Road Safety Week this year.

Safety Performance Data 2025
Safer Together collects, collates, analyses and reports our industry's safety performance data on a Quarterly basis. This campaign will help our members discuss safety performance with their frontline workers. Data can be used to fill gaps in our knowledge, identify trends in safety performance, and highlight activities that require focus and further attention from our Leaders.

Stand Together for Safety 2025
Each year in October, we 'Stand Together for Safety' in honour of National Safe Work Month. This year, themed Psychological Safety – Every Job, Every Day, we focus on the psychosocial hazards and risks that can lead to psychological harm. During this month we are engaging frontline workers on how they can contribute to preventing harm by getting involved and taking the time to Stand Together for Safety.

Every year, approximately 1200 people are killed and another 44,000* are seriously injured on Australian roads. Traffic injury is the biggest killer of Australian children under 15 and the second-biggest killer of all Australians aged between 15 and 24. These numbers are growing every year but are preventable if we choose to Drive So Others Survive!
