Assist and Assure was identified in our 2024-2026 Strategic Plan as a High Priority initiative, for its’ ability to provide frontline workers with the skills to proactively identify and mitigate risks during work preparation and execution. 

We wrapped up our 2024 Supervisors Safety Training sessions in Perth this month, with 23 participants representing 2 operator companies and 8 contractor companies.

In 2025, Assist and Assure will be delivered by our training partner, HSB Resources, bookable via the link below – all 2025 dates and locations (including regional areas) are live, so register your place now!

Assist and Assure builds the skillset to deliver structured, consistent, and line-led safety conversations that are driven by supervisors equipped with the essential soft skills and tools to facilitate effective safety conversations with the workforce, and empowers them to openly address challenges and dilemmas. 

Its' primary objective remains to prevent harm to frontline workers and to ensure that “work only starts when everyone is convinced that it is safe to do so".  

Safer Together remains focussed on deploying this initiative industry-wide.
