Hannah McConnell, Group Business Support Manager for Pro-Test Well Services always steps up when there are actions being handed out. Being a dedicated member of the QLD Health Working Group, Hannah volunteered her company and took one of the leading roles in hosting Fitness to Work workshops in Toowoomba in 2020 and then again in May 2021. These workshops were critical in ensuring that stakeholder feedback is received and were held with great success.

Q: Describe a little for us the Project for which you won the Safer Together ‘Best & Fairest’ Award, and your feelings about being recognised for your efforts?

A: Award was received for my contribution to the Health Working Group Medical Assessment Guideline workshops held in Toowoomba & Brisbane. I’m thrilled to be recognised as ‘best & fairest’ however it’s really a team effort from our amazing, results-driven working group.

Q: Why do you think Safer Together is important for our Industry?

A: ST is important for our industry as it promotes cross-company collaboration & industry wide initiatives. Having member companies on the same wavelength promotes efficiency, especially within smaller contractors like Pro-Test.

Q: The past couple of years have seen enormous interruptions in our personal and working lives; what is the one thing you’re most looking forward to doing (or seeing, or eating, or buying, or anything!) when we can freely and safely get out and about again?

A: There’s a lot to look forward to as we get our freedom back, but I’m most excited for face-to-face interactions & overseas travel!!
