Safer Together will be releasing the next of our ‘HSER Connect’ Bulletins in March and holding our 2nd Annual HSER Forum in Darwin on Wednesday 19 October 2022.
Frontline HSERs can be important change agents. If armed with the right tools and enabled by the right culture, HSERs can be enhanced as leaders and can serve as the eyes and ears of the industry at the frontline. They enable the exchange of ideas and concerns about HSE matters and be empowered to drive on-the-ground innovative solutions.
The question had been posed, “Are there any plans for Safer Together to bring Health Safety & Environment Representatives together from across the industry?”, and we responded by successfully conducting the first of its kind gathering of Industry-wide HSERs in August 2021 in Perth.
The feedback from the Event was overwhelmingly positive – with attendees appreciative of the opportunity to be in the room together, with Frontline HSER colleagues from 17 Member Companies in attendance.
Then, the HSER community asked for more, and Safer Together responded by publishing our first Quarterly ‘HSER Connect’ Bulletin in Q4 2021.
And we have some great news – both above initiatives will be continuing into 2022, with the Safer Together HSER Forum for 2022 being held in Darwin on Wednesday 19 October 2022. SAVE THE DATE!
We want all Member Company HSERs to attend this Forum - learn from Industry Leaders about Industry best-practice in the HSER sphere, current industry performance and challenges, and the importance of the role HSERs play in preventing accidents and incidents.
The Forum will also include presentations on Safer Together HSER-specific Programs and how to best use our HSER Toolkit in your workplace to improve safety outcomes.
