The Safer Together (Qld) Land Transport Working Group held its third Land Transport Review Panel on 12 December. This event was unique, as it was the first time that office and field teams were combined via technology, enabling the Land Transport Review Panel to reach and interact with a greater audience.
The team, led by Peter Runge (Origin) and Craig Hunter (Easternwell), hosted the first dual-location session from Condabri and Brisbane using Origin's video conferencing system. Tony Nunan, Vice-President QGC Shell and Co-Champion of the Land Transport Working Group, fetured as a keynote speaker.
The sessions were well attended at both ends, with robust discussion related to the theme of 'chain of responsibility' as well as the experience of attendees so far in implementing the revised Heavy Vehicle Specification.
