We extend a warm welcome to 5 new member companies that joined our community of safety leaders in July 2021.
We welcome Andrew Thornton (Origin Energy) to the Qld Safety Leaders Group (SLG).
We also acknowledge Tim Phelan’s departure from the Qld SLG. Tim joined the SLG as the Easternwell Representative in 2017. He actively championed our approach to Fitness to Work Medical Assessments – as the Project Sponsor since April 2018 – and as the Co-Champion of our Health Working Group since its inception at the beginning of 2020. He was instrumental in helping Safer Together get its first regional Industry Safety Forum (ISF) off the ground (in Toowoomba) and hosted a memorable site visit to the Easternwell aircraft hangar as part of the ISF. Go well Tim, you will be missed.
