The Improvements Project Team of the Safer Together Marine Working Group has continued to deliver one impressive Incident Review Panel (IRP) and Forum after another. The event on 14 November was filled with review of two very relevant incidents related to lifeboats and vessel operations, which generated robust discussion by participants and a challenge by a Woodside representative about what people will do differently when they go back to work after review of the latter incident.
Following that were two interesting and engaging presentations on biosecurity (MIAL and the Department of Primary Industries). The Forum concluded with ConocoPhillips’ experience on the Bayu-Undan project as they transition to the local regulation in Timor Leste.
