Rescue Davit Arm

Red Bolt Engineering, with customer (both rig contractor and operator) input, designed a rescue davit crane to be mounted to the powerpack pads. The rescue team can now carry the stretcher on the level surfaces of the upper deck, before connecting the stretcher to the davit arm and safely lowering the IP down to the platform deck. This engineering solution removes the stairwell and access related hazards while also drastically decreasing the time between injury and aid.
