October is National Safe Work Month – a time when we deepen our commitment to building a safe and healthy workplace.  Being healthy and safe means being free from physical and psychological harm.  A safe and healthy workplace benefits everyone.

This year Safer Together will provide a resource pack with the theme “Preventing harm depends on us. That’s why I get involved”.

This pack is designed to engage frontline workers on how you can contribute to preventing harm by getting involved in:

  • actively sharing your knowledge, stories, and ideas,
  • contributing to organisational learning by openly participating in HSE activities,
  • recognising others for working in a safe and environmentally responsible way, and
  • taking ownership of issues and sharing learnings.

Campaign materials will be released in September in readiness for National Safe Work Month in October.
