Safer Together’s popular mobile major accident hazard awareness training program Contain It! will be a highlight event at the upcoming Process Safety Incident Review Forum in November.
Along with detailed presentations, analysis and shared learning of process safety event investigations, there will be a Contain It! session in which trained experts provide controlled live fire demonstrations of loss of containment leading to ignition and explosion.
Hosted by Origin and Australia Pacific LNG on behalf of Safer Together, this full-day event will be held on Tuesday 7 November at Australia Pacific LNG’s Origin-operated Condabri Central Gas Processing Facility.
Aimed at front-line staff including operators and maintenance workers, as well as engineers and others interested in process safety, the Incident Review Forum is free-of-charge for member and non-member Operating and Contract Partner Companies.
Process Safety Working Group Co-Champion and CEO of Australia Pacific LNG Warwick King said the Incident Review Forums organised by Safer Together presented a valuable opportunity to hear first-hand about real process safety event investigations.
“More importantly they allow people from a wide range of companies to share what we have learned about the causes and ways to prevent such events from re-occurring,” Warwick said.
