The Process Safety Working Group has published the results of the WA/NT industry wide process safety survey. Click here to read the report and find out what was learnt about process safety awareness in our industry workforce.
Early in 2019, the Process Safety Working Group (PSWG) conducted a process safety survey across the WA/NT Oil & Gas Exploration and Production industry. The objective of the survey was to establish a baseline of process safety awareness within the industry workforce, and to identify areas for improvement. The survey received over 1200 responses. There was a healthy balance of Operating Companies and Contracting Partners as well as a cross section from senior management to front line personnel.
The PSWG has spent the last few months collating and analysing the survey results. They also hosted booths at Industry Safety Forum events in Darwin (March) and most recently in Perth (September). The booths provided an opportunity to present the preliminary survey results and engage with the member community.
The PSWG is now using the survey report to inform the WG work plan development for 2020. If, after reading the report, you would like to provide some input into the 2020 PSWG work plan, please contact [email protected].
