As part of our ongoing collaboration with the International Association of Drilling Contractors Australasian Chapter (IADC-AC), representatives of Safer Together (Qld) Land Transport Working Group have been invited to present at the upcoming IADC Transport and Logistics Forum to be held in Toowoomba on November 22, 2018.
This IADC-AC forum is intended to address the recent introduction of the changes to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) in our industry. CoR changes which effect all of us came into effect on the 1st of October 2018 and have far reaching effects and implications for all. The IADC-AC want to ensure that all IADC-AC members and their associated transport companies are fully conversant with the changes occurring through regulatory reforms and Natural Gas industry ongoing safety initiatives. The Oil and Gas industry has always been at the forefront of safety initiatives, it is vital we collectively maintain a consistent, compliant, safe position in how we conduct ourselves on the roads and onsite.
The forum is FREE and is for transport and logistics companies. It will be held at the Picnic Point Function Centre, Toowoomba, starting at 11am and concluding at about 1pm with a light lunch and an opportunity to discuss the changes with industry speakers. Click here for a detailed event agenda. Industry Representatives will include:
- Peter Runge – Origin Energy
- David Pearce – Santos
- Travis Kearsley – Arrow
- Sean Tansley – NHVR
