On 6 June 2018, Safer Together and DrillSafe ran a joint DCIIRP/DrillSafe/DrillWell Forum in Brisbane.  More than 80 representatives of companies from the drilling and completions community in Queensland gathered with their colleagues from all around Australia to hear presentations from Operators and Contractors about recent incidents and to share lessons learnt.  In addition, several presentations focused on innovations to improve safety in the industry.

The event was kindly hosted by QGC and Halliburton.  The networking session was hosted by ModuResources, Horizon Resources International and WellTrain.

Peter Ridge, HSE Supervisor - Australasia, Halliburton was enthusiastic about the event.

"We are fortunate to be a part of a great organisation where all members are willing to listen. To not contribute would be an opportunity lost".
