Right now we are all deeply involved in responding to the challenges COVID-19 has brought to our lives and our operations. This response is critical and urgent. We must also in parallel, continue to manage the existing hazards our teams are presented with every day. One of the major areas is Line of Fire control.
Safer Together has built a Line of Fire mini-portal as a One Stop Shop to access a range of tools designed to reduce the incidence of line of fire incidents across our industry.
Project Lead Kyle Koziol - Easternwell shared the following message “Safer Together has compiled a lot of great information to support the reduction of Line Of Fire incidents. This portal pulls it all together in one place so that our front line teams can quickly access and use this valuable information”.
Line of fire injuries occur when the path of a moving object or the release of hazardous energy intersects with an individual’s body. Put simply it’s being in harm's way. This mini-portal is a place where you can find a range of tools and information designed to reduce Line of Fire incidents.
The Drilling and Completions sector continues to have the highest TRIFR in the industry. Line of Fire injuries can be fatal, or life altering major injuries and we must work to eliminate or reduce the frequency and consequences. To help support member companies we built a mini-portal to make a lot of this material available. Safer Together members can now use this site to make more material available.
