Obtaining Stakeholder Feedback to Enhance IVMS Requirements Articles • February 2020 Safer Together developed an In Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) Specification in 2014 to simplify and standardise IVMS requirements for the CSG industry. In the interest of continuous improvement, the Land Transport Working Group propose to update this Specification in line with changes in IVMS technology and a better understanding of industry driver behaviours. Consultation workshops have recently been conducted to obtain stakeholder input to the proposed revision.
Common Ground for Common Competencies – CIC Specification Scope Expands…and Arrives in WA/NT Articles • February 2020 Safer Together has issued Rev 4 of the Common Industry Competencies (CIC) Specification. This latest revision adds the following scope: Water Truck; Vehicle Loading Crane; Skid Steer; and Backhoe. Also, importantly, CIC requirements will now apply in WA/NT.
