Each October is National Safe Work Month, a time when we stand together and deepen our commitment to building a safe and healthy workplace for everyone in our industry.
2023’s theme was “Not Safe? Not Sure? Speak Up!”, and we had prepared 2 resource packs - one for Queensland, and one for all Other States and Territories - to help companies in our industry to facilitate a conversation with their frontline workers about recognising unsafe or unhealthy situations, and reinforcing a culture that empowers and supports every individual to stop work and report.
We are pleased to see the campaign materials with thousands of hits on the website, with members rolling the campaign out nationwide and with the campaign video in our top 5 videos viewed during this time.
The campaign materials will remain available for download by members, and include:

- Toolbox Talk, including facilitator notes, and
- FAQs.
Our Qld Stand Together for Safety resource pack also supported the call from The Hon. Scott Stewart MP, Minister for Resources Qld to engage the Qld resources workforce in this Safety Reset campaign.
